Community Camping: May 29-31

In consideration for acceptance for participation by Registrant, and any additional campers listed, in the Event, I do from myself and on behalf of any additional campers listed hereby release, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Sanford Campground and Community of Christ and its affiliated organizations, lessors, lessees, officers, representatives, subordinate units, contractors, campgrounds, Event directors, staff, priesthood, agents, volunteers, participants, and employees thereof from any and all damages (including consequential damages), liability, claims, judgments, penalties, obligations, fines, causes of action, demands, losses, costs, and expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) for personal injury, sickness or death based upon ordinary negligence, as well as property damage and expenses of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred while participating in the Event or arising thereafter, and further agree to hold harmless and indemnify said organizations and their lessors, lessees, officers, representatives, subordinate units, contractors, campgrounds, Event directors, staff, priesthood, agents, volunteers, participants, and employees for any liability sustained by them as the result of the negligent, willful or intentional acts of said Registrant or any additional campers during the Event, including expenses incurred attendant thereto.

The camping host may ask anyone using the campground to leave if they are not following posted rules, damaging campground property, violating laws, or causing a disturbance. 1. All participants must register either on-line or with the campground host upon arrival. Check-in time begins at 3:00pm on the day of arrival and check-out time is by 12:00pm the day of departure. 2. Each campsite is limited to one (1) camper/RV/trailer and one (1) tent or two (2) tents. No more than six (6) people per site unless approved by the camping host. Up to two (2) vehicles (not including a motorhome/camper) may be at each camp site. 3. All fires must be contained and completely extinguished when unattended. 4. Pets are not allowed inside campground buildings including guest apartments and cabins and must be on a leash or secured at all times when outside a trailer, tent, or vehicle. 5. Campsites must be kept clean with all trash and pet waste placed in designated receptacles. Trash may not be burned or placed in fire rings. 6. Water activities including swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boating, etc. are prohibited from the Sanford Campground property when there is no lifeguard on duty. 7. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am. 8. Possession of fireworks (including sparklers), firearms, fixed or switched blade knives, any other weapons, alcohol, tobacco products, marijuana, illegal drugs or other controlled substances or their imitations are strictly forbidden. 9. Gambling and the use of horses, ATVs, ORVs, and boats is not allowed. 10. Golf carts must be registered with the campground manager and use must follow the campground's golf cart policy. The fee for camping is $25 per tent campsite, $35 per RV campsite, $40 per camping cabin, or $50 per guest apartment per night payable to Sanford Campground. A special rate may be available for holiday or special activity weekends. During community camping events only the campsites and bathrooms will be available. All other buildings on the property are off limits and should not be entered or used in any manner, unless opened by the camp host. Campers are encouraged but not required to participate in the daily ministry events announced and offered by the camping host. Contact the camping host with any questions or facility issues during host camping events. Do not contact the campground resident manager directly unless the camping host is unavailable. I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the host camping event rules.

By signing below I agree to the following guidelines for bringing a pet to the community camping event and acknowledge that I may be charged fees for any damages caused by my pet. •Pets should be properly cared for and in good health. • Pets are not allowed in campground buildings including guest apartments and cabins. • Pets must be housed inside their owner’s tent or trailer. • Pets must be caged or on a leash when outside of tent/trailer and must not be left unattended. • Pets must remain under control of a person at least 18 years of age. • Pets may only be walked in designated areas and must remain on a leash no longer than 6’. • Pets may not be aggressive or excessively noisy (such as lunging at others or excessive barking). • Pet owners must immediately and properly dispose of all pet waste/fecal matter. • Pets are not allowed near swimming areas or beaches. • Event directors, or their designees, are expected to enforce this policy and be prepared, if necessary, to require that any violating pet be removed from the campground or for the pet owner and pet to leave the campground.

• Golf cart drivers must be at least 21 years of age, or 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. • Golf carts are not allowed on the beach, sidewalks, or playground areas. • No standing on a moving golf cart. No standing on the bumpers. • The number of riders on a golf cart must not exceed the number of seats available. • If the golf cart is used after dark, headlights and taillights must be on. • Obey the 5 mph speed limit in the campground. • Golf carts must be registered with the campground manager, and the owner must sign a waiver accepting all responsibility in its use, releasing the campground, and the church, of any obligations related to injury or damage occurred caused by the use of the golf cart.
